Weeping Crescent Pendant ➳

Weeping Crescent Pendant // My unique take on the squash blossom pendant, a Southwest Indian jewelry design. Adopting the crescent-shaped "naja" of the Spanish culture,  a copper coated raw flint arrow head is featured in a molten silver leaf bezel. The entire piece has spectacular light reflection and intricate detailing. The pendant is suspended from a brass toned vintage chain.

Hand sculpted/ detailed (with an industrial strength Epoxy clay, in between ceramic and plastic in terms of strength and durability) and hand painted with leaf paints and various acrylics. The clear resin coating gives a wet glossy finish.

These clay pendants are highly durable and extremely light weight, but it is suggested that you treat them with relative care. To maintain the piece for years, please avoid wearing the jewelry in water.
